Exhibition - What’s New? Recent Acquisitions
By Rollins Museum of Art

Making its Florida premiere after an extensive European tour, the Haukohl Family Collection is the largest private collection of Florentine Baroque art from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Assembled over more than 35 years by Houston-based art collector and cofounder of the Medici Archives, Sir Mark Fehrs Haukohl, the exhibition sheds light on the intellectual history of Florence under the reign of the Medici Grand Dukes, demonstrating that 17th and early 18th century Florentine artists had a far greater influence on European art history than previously believed.
